A Dream About Circles is the first in the series of personal experiments in displaying color, form, and obsessive repetition. The colors in each image are derived from typical photographs of various places. These were then processed using a custom filter I built in FilterForge. Once the images were processed I used Adobe Camera Raw to process the images.
While idea here is simple, the repetition quickly adds a visual layer of organic and alien qualities while maintaining a level of organization. In one sense they look like cities, or perhaps bubbles, or maybe mold. Who knows what exactly the represent.
