A Bourgogne wine bottle packaging project

Not long ago, I started drawing some ideas for a wine bottle packaging. I got stuck with very classic designs for a while until I found inspiration in a picture from the Hotel des Vins in the French town of Beaune. The pattern struck me and I decided to design my own in the same style and to put it at the heart of the packaging. Most wines from that region of France have very traditional labels and I wanted to push forward and explore a new way. I used the pattern as a symbol for the tradition of winemaking as well as a canvas for a more modern style of packaging.
