The Cinema was the first 720p HD webcam available to consumers and to make it a functional and beautiful icon, I partnered with Scott Wilson and Minimal to bring their horsepower to the project.

 

Our goal was to aesthetically describe the professional quality that one would experience using this camera by taking cues from photography lenses and gear for the camera body and by making the flexible stand as robust and functional as a piece of equipment in the field would need to be.

 

I did concept work with Minimal throughout the definition and front end conceptualization phases and took on the entire project as we got into geometry lock and through manufacturing.
