I had an animation exam in the last period of year 2. 
I have put in my full process and all ideas and everything I did in preparation of the final result. Hope you like it!

I started with making a briefing with my choices and explanations of what I was gonna do. 
I chose the direction Work. I had to explain what my principles, style and techniques were going to be. I also had to make a summary of the exam.

My first idea was to make a funny animation, in which would be humor that would draw attention to my animation to show what I could make. 
My second idea was to make an animation with an animal moving and going on a little journey, or my own character going on a journey. 
My third idea was to do something with animals, that you would see a calm animation and then something would happen, like a jump scare. 

I chose to do either the whale or the leopard of the middle storyboard. Which I made more storyboards of to show what my ideas were. 

I have a whale statue/Schleich toy at home, and used this to make a more realistic looking whale.

I eventually chose to do the whale, and made a sketchy animation of it.

After this I did all the coloring of the whale, and added a background
