Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria (life and work)
Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria (1 December 1949 – 2 December 1993) was a Colombian drug lord and narcoterrorist who was the founder and sole leader of the Medellin Cartel.
During the height of its operations, the Medellin Cartel brought in more than US$70 million per day (roughly $26 billion in a year).
