I did the typography for this poster for the first Gender Studies Colloquium of the year. The yellow type is part of the background image, which is the cover of the book Dr. Utley was promoting. I didn't want to take away from the strong imagery of the poster so I kept this one as minimal as possible.

I designed this poster for the Gender Studies colloquium featuring Professor Marcia Dawkins, Ph. D. I did the typography for this poster, I did not take the photo. I am very proud of this poster, and Dr. Dawkins told me after the presentation that she wished my poster were the cover of her book. That's always great to hear from the person whose work you are trying to represent.
