Description: The project takes a Piranesi drawing detail as a subdivision for new forms. It becomes a new object with different heights and depths. Each piece joined with a “mortar” inspired by the original drawing. The project provide various views. It goes from a complete circle in the plan to linear textures in the elevations. The object gets complemented by a context that picks characteristics of the same object. As a whole the linearity of the upper elements get reintegrated into a pile volume. It explores the tendency to move towards solidity and mass, transition between upper vertical solid elements, transition to mid elements to thin-shelled lower elements that play different orientations.
