“Domestic Gardens is inspired by the minutiae of everyday life, a topic that I’ve been working on for a while. It is a series of illustrations of portraits of people in their on Domestic Universes; their relation to the objects they possess and the spaces they inhabit. These universes where we spend most of our time; where we practice our daily routines; where we feel comfortable and most of the time we like to call home.
For this particular series, hence the title, I’m inspired by the beautiful and strong women around me. We are like a garden, full of beauty, colors, backgrounds, uniqueness, power... We grow and bloom together no matter how different we might be.”
