Competition in collaboration with Giulia Valentini
The need of the project area is to give an identity to an urban void left by the former shipyard of Pesaro in a strip of land dramatically cut by the entrance to the harbour and the Foglia river.
Moreover is necessary a response to the lack of distinctive places and social meeting spaces in the Pesaro community. The projects wants to convert the area through opportuni west along the seaside front; then creating an iconic landmark linked to the collective imagination, able to generate a multifunctional organism. From the sedimented city the dynamic platform is a morphological adaptation, as a gradient, to the natural elements.
