Understanding structures - Design of a Bookshelf.
After a basic study of structures, I challenged myself to design and build a cantilevered structure. I took to designing a bookshelf with cantilevers and build it in a workshop so it would help me understand cantilevered structures better. I used Medium Density Fibre (MDF) board (18mm) to make the entire structure.
I exagerated the joineries to only enhance them visually.
