Grocery shopping app
a UX/UI Case study on the making
This project has two different types of users: The administrators and the pickers.
THE ADMINS: they will pick one by one the numerous orders that merkadoo receives every day on its website, and evaluate the most suitable picker for that order, taking into account the supermarket(s) required by the customer and the availability of the pickers closest to that area for a faster delivery to our customer's door.
In this case study we will only review the possibilities of ADMINS within the product, since the picking process is complex enough for a complete case study in itself.
These are the basic login screens. The need for a fast and secure interface was the reason for deciding to use snappy micro interactions, to promote that feeling of immediacy in the hands of the administrators.

One of the complains from the Admins and Pickers was loading times, here's how it would feel:
Here's a first iteration, directly from the sketchbook to the team. Let's start this iterative process:
An early prototype version made it to the testing stage, and the results became this full resolution product. Ready to test and go back to re-iterate.
The team, specially the current picker admin was very happy with the testing, suggested a few simple changes in text and we did so. They are currently testing this new version and will be back with some feedback that will be posted right below ASAP.

Thank you for your invaluable feedback, communication with the final user is one of the most important fundamentals of a well functioning and useful solution.
Thanks for watching!
