Meow Wolf - Fabrication CAD+Design Engineering

During my time at Meow Wolf, I was part of the Fabrication Team and worked on the design and production of Meow Wolf's new exhibits in Las Vegas, NV and Denver, CO.

As a Fabrication CAD Designer, I bridged the gap between Concept Art Team and the Fabricators who were building and assembling the various projects. I received sketches, renderings, space models, budgets, and building constraints and used that information to create buildable 3D models, CNC & laser cut files, 3D print files, shop drawings, weld documentation, and assembly instructions for use other team members to use and reference.

I primarily used Rhino + Grasshopper for modeling parts, laying out laser cut files, and creating detail drawings packets. Additionally, I used Solidworks, AutoCAD and Fusion for modeling, space planning, and CNC +3D print file preparation.

I had the opportunity to be a part of 5 different creative projects during my 4 month tenure at Meow Wolf, which was prematurely cut short by the COVID19 Pandemic.
