Summer Chill Répu,

Documenting the skateboarding scene during summer 2014 at Place de la République. 

Affectionately, known as "Répu" this square flocked to by skateboarders and those who love skateboarding as well as others seeking a place to "chill" and take advantage of the lovely summer days in Paris. 

The square underwent a massive renovation in 2010 which changed somewhat the dynamic still attracts many. It's the Parisian equivalent to NYC's Washington Square Park in my opinion. A place to relax, and retreat form the hustle and bustle of city life. These are a selection of my photos from one such afternoon.
