Location: Toronto
Project area: 600 sq.meters
The main design element of the restaurant is a circular glass atrium that connects interior space with the outdoor landscape. The atrium provides natural light to the area that doesn't have any windows in the exterior walls and serves as an outdoor patio during the warm part of the year.
It also divides 600 sq.meter restaurant into smaller volumes allowing for a sense of intimacy and protection for guests of the open-plan space.

Zig-zagging sheets of bronze steel run the full length of the west wall, contrasting with soft rounded shapes of the concrete bar with a bronze gradient coating.

A palette of light grey plaster walls and light grey upholstered sofas are combined with contrast dark bronze panels and cinnamon red accent furniture pieces. This quiet tension generates visual complexity while also creating a relaxing welcoming atmosphere.

The dining area features custom light grey upholstered couches and limestone tables. A large sculptural circle on the grey plaster wall creates variation to otherwise flat wall surface.
