Art of An Addict: Street Wear

'The Art of an Addict' is a conceptual spring/summer streetwear collection influenced by first hand experiences with those whom are afflicted by addiction. In a society where the blame is placed onto a persons character rather than the external circumstances that may drive an individual to substance abuse. This collection exemplifies the societal dissonance that is associated with addiction, and exemplifies the value and contributions of those who suffer. With a primary focus on the contributions made to the art world; from Andy Warhol and the pop art movement, to Keith Harring's neo-pop 'Crack is Wack'. Silhouette inspiration is derived from the 60s mod-look, Tokyo streetwear, and the HBO series 'Euphoria'. Hyper bright primaries are combined with utility style hardware to create a psychedelic work wear aesthetic.
