In the church, Barney awkwardly stood without tears in the middle of the crowd. Even though it was solemn and noiseless in mother’s funeral, Barney felt a unusual severe twinge in his belly. Fleeing to the lavatory, exerting strength, Barney laid an egg in the toilet.《Nidus》describes that a man who used to freeze his emotions can no longer suppress it, thereafter a series of weird and absurd things happened in a row. In mother’s funeral, the man laid an eerie egg, then he tried to take care of it, bring it home, make it warm and hatch it …… until his own mind was devoured by the egg.

白色的教堂，班尼站在黑色的人群中央，詫異地沒有表情。母親的喪禮十分莊嚴，而班尼只感到一陣陣灼熱腹痛。痛苦的班尼離開人群逃到廁所、使勁地用力、產下了一顆蛋，漂浮在堵塞的馬桶裡。《臭蛋》描述一個凍結情緒的男子，無法繼續壓抑情感表現，而發生的一連串怪異荒誕經歷。從母親喪禮開始，莫名產下一顆蛋、試著照顧、孵化蛋，直到被這顆蛋吞噬的故事。

“NIDUS” is a short animation project talking about depression and liberation with a magic realism narrative. It reveals the potential mental problem that humans may face when a sudden depression happens, which is called “Experiential Avoidance”, namely “Frozen Emotion”. In the story, Barney had a tiny disorder since he was a kid. After mother’s funeral, Barney laid an egg, and it took root in Barney's mind and kept influencing his life. ⠀

《臭蛋》是一齣關於壓抑與解放的作品，嘗試參考魔幻寫實的敘事手法，揭示面對心理創傷時可能發生的「經驗迴避」，亦稱「情緒凍結障礙」。描述困擾著主角班尼的情緒問題於一次意外起爆發，漸漸漫延、滿溢、深深影響班尼生活的過程。從母親喪禮開始，班尼莫名產下一顆蛋，這顆蛋開始成為班尼的一部份，深刺紮入內心、甚至影響了現實。
