Biennale di Architettura di Venezia 2018 // Exhibition in Padiglione Italia.
Here I collected my productions for the architecture studio Gravalosdimonte Arquitectos I worked with in 2018.
I took part in a project for the international exposition Biennale di Architettura di Venezia 2018, Padiglione Italia. During this time I worked especially on graphic, improving a my competences thanks to the new requests of the studio and to the experience of working with my colleagues. I also entirely realized the video shown in the page to explain all the process of the project.
The project, coordinated by Mario Cucinella Architects and part of Padiglione Italia, is about urban regeneration of inner areas of Italy, with problems of depopulation and services underdevelopment.
We worked in Scalo Grassano (Matera), located in Basilicata region, creating a multifunctional Hub to collect and develop agricultural and manufacturing activities. Then, a park to practise and test what is studied in the building, is design and connected to the close Basento River, an ecological connection and infrastructure.
This spot is geographically central for the small villages in the surroundings and activating it can offer new services for them and stimulate the growth.
