On July 6 I was contacted by an organization whose goal was to bring attention to the Egyptian crisis.
I was asked to design a quick identity for their project named STAND 4 DEMOCRACY to put the new military government in the spotlight of international public opinion and force it to restore Democracy and the Egyptian Constitution.

Here's their manifesto.
"ON JULY 3, 2013 EGYPT’S ARMED FORCES REMOVED THE COUNTRY’S FIRST EVER FREELY ELECTED CIVILIAN PRESIDENT, HELD HIM INCOMMUNICADO BY SECURITY FORCES IN AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION AND SUSPENDED THE CONSTITUTION.
This coup has set a bad precedent for the future of budding democracies all over the world.
We believe in the democratic process, in the peaceful rotation of power  and in the legitimacy of elected presidents who should only be removed through the ballot box.
Countries supporting democracy have already stated that they will neither  recognize the interim president installed by the army coup, nor his government.
Whatever your country or nationality, if you believe in democracy and support its principles, let your voice be heard. Make a difference by signing the adjacent petition. "

Democracy for some of us is a gift given by our grand fathers, but it's not for people who's still working and fighting at their own risk for it.
I hope you will find 2 minutes to give them your support:
The opened left hand standing means to demand for something, to have no weapons, to stop from going further.
