Had a bit more time to myself today, so took the NSX back to the workshop.
I've done a quick cut and carve to give front wing slightly more character - majority of Super GT NSX cars running widebody kits were all very boxy (as per wing on previous Autobacs car) - but I wanted to adjust wing so it followed chamfer character of main body a bit better - like I'd done at the rear.
Few slots for side window, filler cap, bonnet release catch, wing mirrors . . mostly copy-pasted from past sketchmodels.
Then back into vRED - wanted to play with livery ideas a bit more.. This one is all made up, but trying to stay vaguely in period - trying to get the rising sun vibe into it by painting front wheel red against white bodywork. The pixel camo is kinda fun..

Playing around with livery variants - now that the geometry is set up, it's fairly quick and very simple to swap out decal sets, and build new versions in vRED

Felt it only fair to go back and apply the same tweaks to the Autobacs car - seeing as this oranfge beast was always my favourite, I need it to look as good as the others!

I always thought that Mobil 1 was the coolest logo, but felt the all-white NSX livery looked a bit weak. This attempts to beef that up by going silver instead. Sleek, pared back, a bit more sophisticated - relies on monochromatic decaling for most part. Works for me!
I wonder who's gonna win?
