Manifesto Anti-Dantas et du Futurisme (publicação)

Este projeto consiste na paginação de dois manifestos, o Manifesto do Futurismo de Filippo Marinetti nas páginas amarelas e as páginas cor de rosa na qual, parte do manifesto está escrito em francês com a fonte Futura, criando uma distinção entre as duas línguas e, o Manifesto Anti-Dantas de Almada Negreiros com as páginas brancas e a fonte Swift. O uso de carros no manifesto de Filippo Marinetti simbolizam o conceito do futurismo: "Nós afirmamos que a magnificência do mundo enriqueceu-se de uma beleza nova: a beleza da velocidade. Um automóvel de corrida com seu cofre enfeitado com tubos grossos, semelhantes a serpentes de hálito explosivo... um automóvel rugidor, que correr sobre a metralha, é mais bonito que a Vitória de Samotrácia."

Quanto à parte do manifesto Anti-Dantas, o uso de imagens de álbuns de hip hop são uma metáfora contemporânea ao tom de protesto, ousado, jovem, inovador e novo (características desse estilo) em comparação ao tom do manifesto Anti-Dantas e, o seu tom revolucionário da sua publicação na altura.

This project consists of the layout of two manifestos, the Futurism Manifesto by Filippo Marinetti on the yellow pages and the pink pages in which, part of the manifesto is written in French with the Futura font, creating a distinction between the two languages and, the Anti-Dantas Manifesto by Almada Negreiros with the white pages and the Swift font. The use of cars in Filippo Marinetti's manifesto symbolizes the concept of futurism: "We assert that the magnificence of the world has been enriched by a new beauty: the beauty of speed. A racing automobile with its vault adorned with thick, serpent-like tubes of explosive breath...a roaring automobile, running on machine-gun fire, is more beautiful than the Victory of Samothrace."

As for the Anti-Dantas manifesto part, the use of hip hop album images are a contemporary metaphor for the protesting, bold, young, innovative and new tone (characteristics of that style) compared to the tone of the Anti-Dantas manifesto and, its revolutionary tone of its publication at the time.
