According to the latest annual survey conducted by HSBC Bank, respondents rated the United States highly in areas such as education, career opportunities, and personal fulfillment.

Expatriates working in the United States also outearn their counterparts in other countries. In the previous year’s survey, approximately 50 percent of ex-pats reported experiencing a higher quality of life in the United States than in their home countries. Since many ex-pats remain in the United States long term, many open retirement and investment accounts with US-based institutions.
