This lace applique technique was brought to life after several attempts to create a complete lace denim that would not comprimise the 7 for all mankind fit. The final piece had to undergo a wash technique to achieve its translucent finish to create this one of a kind denim-lace experience.
THis lace applique was the original inspiration piece I used to create the embroidery print above, which went through several stages of wash procedures to reach its final "translucent" stage.
