Christmas markets have been around since the Middle Ages. Our story begins in 1861 when Fritz Weingärtner made his first roasted almonds on the local coke oven. His delicious roasted almonds quickly enjoyed great popularity at the numerous folk festivals in the Brothers Grimm City Hanau. Shortly after the war Gustav Weingärtner resumed production in 4th generation. Now in the 6th generation Dominik Weingärtner cultivates this tradition and produces numerous roasted nut specialties. You will find us as well at the Hanauer Christmas Market 2 meters away from the Brothers Grimm Monument.

My task was to create packaging design that can be used for more than 30 SKU - so here we have one bag with stickers for each flavor and different nut types. Central theme of illustration is traditional Christmas market there you can find a lot of characters of Brothers Grimm tales.
