THE DESIGN, BEING SO NATURE FRIENDLY AND COMPATIBLE WITH BOTH THE TOPOGRAPHY AND THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, HAS SOLUTIONS FOR A BETTER LIFE CLOSER TO NATURE.

THE DESIGN, GETTING IT’S SHAPE PARALLEL TO THE TOPOGRAPHY OF THE AREA, AIMS NOT TO HARM THE NATURE WHILE PROVIDING DIFFERENT FACILITIES TO THE RESIDENTS. THE PROJECT IS DESIGNED HAVING A MONTAGE BOTH INTROSPECTIVE AND EXTROVERTED, GUIDED BY THE LANDSCAPE OF THE RESIDENCIAL DISTRICT, THE SURROUNDING BUILDINGS, OPEN AREAS AND THE ROADS.

DURING THE DESIGN PERIOD OF THE PROJECT, IT’S AIMED TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR THE THE RESIDENTS TO SOLVE THEIR NEEDS INSIDE THE AREA, WITHOUT ISOLATING THEM FROM IT’S SURROUNDINGS. IT WAS AN IMPORTANT ISSUE PREVENTING THE RESIDENTS FROM BEING PULLED OFF OF THEIR NEIGHBOURHOOD AND IN ORDER TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE, IT’S AIMED TO MAKE USE OF THE TOPOGRAPHY AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AS STRONGLY AS IT CAN BE.
THE PROJECT MINIMIZES THE EXTROVERTED ENERGY NEEDS OF THE RESIDENCES’ BY THE AID OF THE 4 “NATURE FRIENDLY SOLUTIONS”: COLLECTING, STORING AND REUSING RAINWATER, VALUING GROUND WATER, OBTAINING ELECTRICITY BY THE USE OF SOLAR ENERGY, OBTAINING HOT WATER BY THE USE OF SOLAR ENERGY. THE MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTERISTICS CARRIED OUT THROUGH THE PROJECT ARE CERTAINLY OF THESE FEATURES OF GOKTURK COUNTY AND IT’S SURROUNDINGS.

THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF RESIDENCES AS 3+1, 2+1 AND 1+1 TYPES AND EACH TYPE HAS IT’S OWN TERRACE. APART FROM THESE INDIVIDUAL TERRACES, THERE ALSO EXISTS COMMON TERRACES. ADDITIONALLY, 3+1 TYPE RESIDENCES HAVE THEIR OWN GARDENS.
SOCIAL AREA LOCATED ON THE 0.00 LEVEL, ALSO THE ENTRANCE LEVEL TO THE RESIDENCES CONTAINS A CAFE, A BAR AND A SWIMMING POOL.
THE CLOSED PARKING AREA LOCATED ON THE -3.00 LEVEL SERVES THE WAY TO THE 3+1 RESIDENCES ALSO LOCATED ON THE SAME LEVEL. THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE PARKING AREA AND THE 2+1 AND 1+1 TYPE RESIDENCES IS SOLVED WITH STAIRS AND ELEVATORS.

3+1 TYPE RESIDENCES
THIS RESIDENCE TYPE IS LOCATED ON THE -3.00 LEVEL AND HAS A GROSS AREA OF 140M2 AND A NET AREA OF 127 M2. THEY ARE DESIGNED AS DUBLEX RESIDENCES AND HAVE INDIVIDUAL TERRACES AND GARDENS. THE OPEN FACADES OF THESE RESIDENCES ARE LOCATED ON THE EAST-WEST AXIS AND THEIR GARDENS AND TERRACES ARE LOCATED ON THE WESTERN FACADE. THEY HAVE A DIRECT CONNECTION TO THE PARKING AREA FROM THEIR FIRST FLOOR AND DIRECT CONNECTION TO THE SOCIAL AREA FROM THEIR SECOND FLOOR.

2+1 TYPE RESIDENCES
THIS RESIDENCE TYPE IS LOCATED ON THE +3.00 LEVEL AND HAS A GROSS AREA OF 100 M2 AND A NET AREA OF 90 M2. THEY ARE DESIGNED AS DUBLEX RESIDENCES AND HAVE INDIVIDUAL TERRACES HAVING AN AREA OF 24.5 M2. THE SUNNY FACADES OF THESE RESIDENCES ARE LOCATED ON THE NORTH-SOUTH AXIS AND THEIR TERRACES ARE LOCATED ON THE SOUTHERN FACADE, HAVING A VIEW OF THE INNER COURTYARD.

1+1 TYPE RESIDENCES
THIS RESIDENCE TYPE IS LOCATED ON THE TOP LEVEL AND HAS A GROSS AREA OF 77 M2 AND A NET AREA OF 70 M2. THEY ARE DESIGNED AS DUBLEX RESIDENCES AND HAVE INDIVIDUAL TERRACES HAVIG AN AREA OF 21.5 M2. THE SUNNY FACADES OF THESE RESIDENCES ARE LOCATED ON THE EAST-WEST AXIS AND THEIR TERRACES ARE LOCATED ON THE WESTERN FACADE.

COLLECTING, STORING AND REUSING RAINWATER
BY THE AID OF THE RAINWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM CONSRUCTED ON THE TERRACES, HUGE AMOUNT OF THE WATER TO BE USED IN THE CLOSETS AND THE LANDSCAPE AREAS ARE OBTAINED.

VALUING GROUND WATER
THE PROJECT AIMS TO OBTAIN AN AMOUNT OF THE WATER NEEDED IN THE RESIDENTIAL AREA, MAKING USE OF THE RICH GROUND WATER FOUNTAINS OF THE GOKTURK COUNTRY.
OBTAINING HOT WATER BY SOLAR ENERGY

BY THE AID OF THE 62 SOLAR PANELS (DIM: 1500 X 1000 X 4.8 MM) CONSTRUCTED ON THE TOP LEVEL OF THE RESIDENTIAL AREA, THE HOT WATER NEEDED IN THE RESIDENCES AND THE COMMON AREAS CAN BE OBTAINED.

OBTAINING ELECTRICITY BY SOLAR ENERGY
WITH RESPECT TO MARMARA REGION’S CIRCUMSTANCES (SUNSHINE DURATION: 2409 HOURS/YEAR, TOTAL SOLAR ENERGY:1168 KWH/M PER YEAR), BY THE AID OF THE ELECTRIC ENERGY OBTAINED BY 62 PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS (PV) (DIM: 1500 X 1000 X 4.8 MM) CONSTRUCTED ON THE TOP LEVEL OF THE RESIDENTIAL AREA, ENERGY IS SAVED UP TO %15. AS A RESULT, THE ELECTRIC ENERGY TO BE USED IN THE GENERAL LIGHTING OF THE RESIDENTIAL AREA AND THE COMMON AREAS (SOCIAL AREA AND THE ELEVATORS) CAN BE OBTAINED.
(WITH RESPECT TO SCIENTIFIC VALUES, IN ORDER TO MAKE USE OF SOLAR ENERGY ECONOMICALLY, THE PROJECT AREA WHERE THE SOLAR PANELS ARE TO BE USED HAS TO HAVE A NET AVARAGE OF 2000 HOURS OF SOLAR ENERGY. THE VALUE FOR THE PROJECT AREA IS APPROXIMATELY 2409 HOURS.)
