Gill Sans is considered the "Helvetica of England," a 'humanist' sans serif typeface and is highly legible in text & display work. Designed by Eric Gill and commercially available in 1928 by Monotype, this universally applied typeface is inspired by the London Underground signage by Edward Johnston.
