Computer/No Computer:
In recent years, handmade approaches have become increasingly popular amongst designers once more,
but the importance of using both digital and analogue techniques in harmony can sometimes be overlooked.
This project explores both these contrasting disciplines. I wanted to see how new technologies can enhance the more tangible, hand crafted methods of design.

I created this tree as an experiement to see how technology could be used to enhance the beauty of craft. There are wires which have been concealed by the wool which enable sound to be created as you touch the coloured spheres. See the tree in action below!
