The living environment and design need to be changed as generation changes. The new design was focused on a home-like look to the residents and the staff. Warm colors were used for wall painting and intended an abundance of natural light into the environment. The use of too dark lighting and glare-free lighting was avoided to protect the seniors' eyes. For convenient accessibility, space was designed as an open floor plan, and simple and easy furniture was selected. Lastly, living in a good quality of life is important, and it is directly related to their health, comfort, and happiness. Thus, the activity room was renovated based on the residents' needs and tastes to keep seniors active.
