New Formalism Poster Series
This series of posters depicting abstract photo Illustrations with the formal means of form, color, material and light represents my profession of art direction and photography.
The definition of Formalism within art history is the study of art by analysing and comparing form and style – the ways that different objects are made and their pure visual aspects. Formalism emphasises compositional and perceptual elements as opposed to iconography or historical/social context.
I see this poster series as an ongoing exploration. I wanted to create a mix of geometrical photography and minimal graphic design forms. this series will be extended.
