'Sydney Tea Festival' poster-pamphlet
This was a fun pamphlet layout that I made based on the Sydney Tea Festival with an illustrated poster on one side when folded out. With simple but clean illustrations and optimised use of die-cuts, I wanted to highlight the family-friendliness of this event and that there is so much more to tea than meets the eye.
The fold is a derivation of a simple accordian fold with added cuts to create more pages and cut-outs to be unique. The playful pull-out stamp sheet mimicks a teapot being emptied.
The use of a simple san-serif typeface ‘Wigrum’ and childish colour-pencil illustration appeals to kids while the monochromatic blue and red colour palette adds maturity. The illustrations, layout, craftmanship and preparation of a print-ready file with dielines were carried out by me.
