In my position as UX/UI designer for the Career Center at CSUN I was in charge of conducting user research, mapping user flows, sketching wireframes, designing UI elements, and developing UX prototypes for hi-fidelity mockups.

The main reasons for creating the app is to reduce printed materials in the career center specifically event posters, by having an event calendar. Next is to educate students about the services provided at the Career Center. The app will also include an interactive AI element that will answer students questions about the Career Center. Finally, the app will include a multimedia library of tutorials.

According to my survey of students and Counselors there were three main reasons students visited the Career Center: Jobs, Networking, and Resources.
