"Jack Ryan" - Main Titles pitch. Prologue. (2017)

Below are some tests I created to help explain my concept and how motion would look.

To uncover and decipher patterns in terrorist communication is the business of young CIA analyst, Jack Ryan at the outset of Amazon’s fresh take on Tom Clancy’s seminal work.

I was interested in visualising this theme of emerging patterns and networks. Evoking the sifting through documents both physical and digital was also a part of my motivation. Technology is at the centre of the series but I wanted to present it an everyday, functional, dog-eared way rather than as something sterile and slick.

My pitch was well received and so proceeded to the next phase of development where I was required to put together some provisional motion tests (see below).
