Eagles Sign Veteran Defensive Back Nickell Robey-Colema

In his role as a program manager at UBS, Timothy "Tim" Shields draws upon more than 25 years of experience to direct complex and long-term technology projects on behalf of the firm. Outside of his professional endeavors at UBS, Stanford University MBA graduate Tim Shields is a passionate fan of the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL).

The Eagles bolstered its depth at the defensive back position on March 25 by signing veteran Nickell Robey-Coleman to a one-year, $1 million contract with an additional $300,000 in performance-based incentives. He joins a defensive back unit that includes Darius Slay, Sidney Jones, Avonte Maddox, and Rasul Douglas.

A 27-year-old native of Frostproof, Florida, Robey-Coleman played 16 games with the Los Angeles Rams last season and registered 36 tackles, seven defended passes and two forced fumbles. The seven-year veteran played three seasons with the Rams, prior to which he was a member of the Buffalo Bills.

Through four seasons in Buffalo, Robey-Coleman accumulated 168 tackles, 28 defended passes, five quarterback sacks, and three interceptions. He was signed by the team in 2013 out of the University of Southern California.
