FOILER is the world’s first commercially available, flying yacht. Their ability to innovate is astonishing, which is why we love it when they come to us with a new creative brief!
tīmata has been looking after the FOILER brand since 2016. We’ve worked across a wide range of briefs with their team, starting from the design of their identity and all the way through to their installations at exhibitions. At the beginning of 2018, FOILER launched its pre-production model at the Dubai International Boat Show. For which we designed and produced their brochures, designed and developed their website, as well as the exhibition stand which showcased this model.
At the end of 2019, at the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show, FOILER unveiled their 2020 model. Now with slick new colours and a variety of layouts and modifications, we created the individual sub-identities for each layout option, along with designs for the fully customisable decking.
We have recently worked with their transportation designers, to create the submission boards to the German Design Awards at which FOILER was nominated. Now, as they continue to innovate, we are working with their in-house software engineers to enhance the aesthetics and the user experience of the custom OS that will be on the dashboard of the yacht.
In the lead-up to the Abu Dhabi Boat Show 2019, tīmata directed a 3-day shoot at sea with the FOILER to then edit and produce the latest models release film (shown at the top of the page). We designed and produced the custom-built stand, with intricate detailing and bespoke paint finishes to match the yacht. Our photography from the various shoots and events are regularly used across the social media accounts that we manage on their behalf.
