"Time and Distance in Portraiture of Gene Kasidit" BDF

My first solo exhibition “Time and Distance in portraiture of Gene Kasidit” speaks about change in terms of photography and beauty affected by time and distance in one piece of an architectonic installation photography based on the concept to play with human visual perception and recognition. “Is it too fast or too slow…to see?” Jan asked to herself and found that people will find it’s hard to keep the eyes on something changing too fast. But in the other way, they cannot even notice any movement on something changing too slow either. This has brought her the idea to create some architectonic installation photography, and invited Gene Kasidit (a very unique and famous singer from Smallroom Bangkok Pop Music Label) to be her perfect muse for this shoot.

This exhibition was a part of Bangkok Design Festival 2010 at CentralWorld.
