KING 360 ART
LEAD ARTIST
I created this 360 production as a promotional video for King (London studio) to showcase part of the art we made along 2017-2018. At first I facilitated the audience with 360 VR cardboard to enjoy the content in the most immersive way; then I also offer the video to the viewers to watch it through an interactive 360 player.
I led this project from its conceptualization and script to the compositing, postproduction, final edit and distribution; using as main content the work from the extremely talented art team of King London Studio. I adapted this art to the 360 space, mainly redrawing backgrounds and overpainting assets. However I also created original content such as vfx, 3D assets or new character animation to serve the narration and support the basic story I wanted to tell.
The video has a equirectangular monoscope format. I used Photoshop with a specific grid as reference on its 3D viewport mode to create the content directly within a 360 space.
Using a 360 player you can play the video through various points of view and projection modes such as this "Little Planet"
