"Selchidh"
In Scottish mythology, "Selchidhs" (also spelled: "Selkie", "Sylkies") are mythological beings capable of therianthropy, changing from seal to human form by shedding their skin. They are found in folktales and mythology originating from the Northern Isles of Scotland.
