Branding
This project required a corporate identity as well as branding for a client, Dome Distillery. This gin distillery has three distinctive gins, where its botanicals derive from the world heritage site, the Vredefort Dome.
The idea was to represent values of sincerity, transparency and legitimacy, through  incorporating the Dome sourced botanicals. The saying, "what you see, is what you get" drove this project into its being.
As any good gin, it is crafted in small batches and undergoes processes of maceration and vaporisation.
A comparison was drawn between the craft of the gin and the branding of the product. Branding undergoes many processes and in this case, creative elements was incorporated, such as stamping botanicals, ball-point sketching and drypoint prints. The visual language of this project was supported by the inspiration drawn from the Arts and Crafts movement known as Art Nouveau.
