1. Ellison Park. This park’s 1.1-mile trail features beautiful landscapes, including forests and a flood plain created by Irondequoit Creek. The trail, which has both steep and flat sections, also provides ample opportunities for hikers to view birds and other wildlife.
2. Corbett’s Glen Nature Park. Located in nearby Brighton, this park’s wood-chip trail takes hikers past an abundance of natural scenery and beautiful waterfalls. Along the two miles of trails, there are several spots where hikers can stop next to the water, including a viewing deck and a seating area overlooking Postcard Falls.
