Study applied in collective passenger transportation
The following research work aims to build accessibility and connectivity indicators, in order to qualify the asymmetries that collective public transport has in the city of Montevideo, in Uruguay.
The information available of the Metropolitan Transport System (STM) and the information obtained by the National Institute of Statistics (INE) are the main sources of Data. This information is processed and systematized in order to be able to work with Softwares of Geographic Information Systems and Networks Analytics Systems, more precisely, QGIS and Gephi, respectively. The first program (QGIS) allows the georeferenciation  of differents types of information and the crossing between them. The second program (GEPHI), thanks of its algorithms allows the creation of the indicators of accessibility and connectivity wished.
This is the beginning of a line of study that opens many new ways, its potential crossing with analysis on Big Data results extremely attractive.
Below are the neighborhoods with their respective typologies, indicators and ranges of accessibility.
Accessibility map for the entire network, the larger the node, the better the degree of accessibility.
Chosen range of accessibility, high, medium, and low.
With the aim of being able to process the information obtained and once the accessibility data had been obtained, the chose was the organization neighborhood typologies, according to size, node distribution and urban categorization.

Below are the neighborhoods with their respective typologies, indicators and ranges of connectivity.
Connectivity map throughout the network, the larger the node size, the better degree of connectivity.
Chosen range of connectivity, high, medium, and low.

All the neighborhoods, with their respective typologies and connectivity and accessibility coefficients.
Adding the density data of the neighborhoods, we obtain the following results:
