The Bravo Brothers are a circus family, which adopts artists of various nationalities to collaborate on their show. Present themselves as Los Bravo Brothers, recalling the old school circus and to reinforce the idea that the whole family is relative and act in the same tent. Some are experts in numbers of comedy, but not jokers, others are contortionists but not skillful, others in a trampoline, but not bounce more than 20 centimeters, and others in Hulahoop in spite of the arc give less than two turns. They live in the same caravan and appear from time to time in the media and only give performances on weekends.
Started has a masters degree project this is the final publication with all the faces created till now. 140 exercices of drawing and software, an author project, the Bravo Brothers celebrate the self initialized projects, in this case with an amazing suport, the book. This project was present in the class and it is not for sale, because Bravo Brothers doesn´t have any money to produce more than one copy, only passion, motivation to make ourselfs and every one happy.
In order of layout, we wanted a fixed and direct grid but at the same time very fluid in the tupography. We didin´t had to much text, but the concept were very influenced by the vintage circus posters. Our separators were a getaway for promote our Bravos. Every Bravo has a name, created in geradordenomes.com, and that name is in the separator which together with all the others creates a typography poster in a single page. In order of tecnhics of printing and bindery, is composed by 7 booklets boiled with a black line with the spine free show. This allows a greater opening of the book for a better view of the pages.
For us, in some way, this project is a great relationship bettewn graphic design and ilustration, our two "lovers". Some of our guest, ilustrators and graphic designers were invited to participate in the creation of a "Bravo". They needed to create 3 to 5 faces in a white background by 5cm x 5cm whit any technique. After that, the proposes were posted in a web plantaform losbravobrothers.tumblr.com with the propose to promote their Bravos. In the simple translation of word Bravo: bravery or courage. Expression used to indicate approval or congratulations - An aplause of their work. We wanted different approaches, from different people. Almost like their identity faces, the "face of their work". The other characters who doesn´t have any credits were made by our creator.
We want to thank for the amazing participations, because with them, we could make something that we like and made us fell better with the world.

The Book Cover
The book cover is influenced by the stuctures of the vintage circus posters, and from their impact colors. In this case, is silckscreened printed in a paper that looks like rubber (we only find 2 examples of this) and the color is an orange fluor, that in the shawdow has no impact, but when the light capts the color has a great and amazing impact.
