Dairy Industry encompasses a wide range of machines that are used in the production of various dairy products such as cheese, pane-er, butter, milk, ghee, ice-cream, etc.

Dairy equipment is very essential and helps in the production of dairy products. It takes raw material as the input and converts it into the simple material. Various types of dairy machinery are available nowadays that help automates the dairy process. So, we are here with some of the dairy machinery that is automating the dairy process:

1.    Homogenizes: A homogenizer is a machine that breaks fat globules into a smaller one that results in reduces separation. It is the most common equipment used in the dairy industry as well as handling of this equipment is easy, efficient, and cost-effective. It provides uniform consistency and keeps the milk smooth, white, and rich flavored. Various types of Homogenizers are available such as :
 
•    Single-stage Homogenizer.
•    Two-stage Homogenizer.

2.    Butter and Cheese Processing:   Various steps are involved in making butter and cheese such as pasteurization, sterilization, acidifying, churning, homogenizing, etc. All these processes combined to make butter and cheese.  In Both cheese and butter production, different type of machinery are required. 3.    Emulsifiers: Emulsifiers are the most used equipment in dairy applications. It is used for various purposes such as :

5.    Pasteurizers: Pasteurization is the process in which the packaged and the non-packaged food are treated with mild heat to eliminate the harmful organization that causes various diseases. It is used to make the food safer. Various method through which the pasteurization is done are:
 
•    Batch Pasteurization.
•    Continuous Pasteurization.
•    Flash Pasteurization.
 
6.    Freezers: Freezers maintains the shelf life of the dairy products and also prevent the growth of micro-organisms. Different types of freezers are available such as
 
•    Batch Freezer: As the name suggests, this freezer freezes in the form of batches.

•    Continuous Freezer: It is similar to the batch freezer, but here the freezing is done under a pressure and the air is continuously in or drawn into the freezing chamber at the estimated rate.
