CITRILICIOUS SPRING EVENT
A store-wide event celebrating all things citrus at Longo's grocery stores.
Citrilicious was a month long event created for a chain of grocery stores in Canada called Longos. My agency was responsible for creating the in store signage, as well as other elements such as flyers, brochures, window clings and even a lemonade stand with tastings. The goal was to infuse some fresh, bright POP into the dreary spring months and get people excited to buy the delicious citrus fruits that were being imported from California. The move to a bright, graphic treatment was something new for Longos who have been more traditional in the past. The outcome was very successful, and the appeal in store drove sales and hopefully added a little bit of sunshine to people's everyday shopping. Enjoy!

Logo development in four colours that alternated in store for a bright, fresh appeal.

Banners above product were scattered around the store with original photography that was shost on a light table using thin, juicy slices of citrus to show their freshness.

Standee signage sat above key departments - in this case seafood - to highlight recipes from the in store magazine.

Key feature in the magazine featured the original photography as well as an educational piece on the featured citrus fruits.

Feature displays of crates with citrus fruit were placed in unexpected areas, such as meat and seafood cases, or near sparkling water stands to highlight the promotion and serve as an accent for people to add to their meal or beverages. 
Shelf danglers were also placed in these areas, such as near water bottles, to encourage people to 'make it citrilicious' by adding a twist of lemon or orange to their beverages or fish. 
Ongoing promotions were tagged on to the front of the flyer as a flap brochure.
