My graduation project was the design of the bridge of a bass guitar, which is the part that connects the strings to the body. Extensive studies on the preferred bass guitar sound, existing bridges, the usage and visual aesthetics were done as a basis for the design. Ultimately a fully functional prototype was made with which the design was
evaluated. The design is very simplistic in
terms of production and assembly.
