Ergonomic Bicycle Accesoire
More and more people travel to work by (electric) bike. They invest money in a great bicycle but sometimes they still have complaints when they cycle. Most of the time that’s because the bike is not ergonomically adjusted to their individual bodies. The saddle, the pedals and the handgrips are the most important aspects that can be adjusted.
Idea Generation
With 3D-printing and plasticine the first prototypes were created. For the final model the plasticine was changed to the moldable glue. On the outside surface are edges so the moldable glue stays better on the frame.
The packaging is completly made out of cardboard and paper for easy recycling. Only the foil and bag are made of plastic.

The Concept
The concept is quite simple. Create a handgrip that can be made industrially but fits each individual perfectly.
The outcome is a simple hard frame with a moldable glue (named Sugru) on it. After a while, the moldable glue cures  and it’s ready to use.

The handles are each individual packed, covered with a plastic foil and wrapped in an airtight back. Both handles are placed in tubes especially made for easy acces and handling. On the back of the packaging is a special instruction guide so the customer knows directly what to do.

The Packaging
The two tubes can slide out individually  to install them separatly. There is no need to include an inside manual guide because the guide is placed on the back of the packaging for an easier and quicker installation.
