BEMBINO is an original typeface designed specifically for KNITS & STYLE; a boutique that sells one of a kind handmade knit & crocheted baby clothing items.
The name BEMBINO is derived from the Italian word bambino; meaning baby. I drew inspiration from the soft curves of Bembo and the thin elegant strokes of Didot. The letterforms reflect the delicate and soft nature of baby items. The typeface echoes the goal and purpose of the business as a whole, and mirrors the quality and beauty of the products that are being sold by KNITS & STYLE.
