Null Skateboards is a Colorado based brand with a strong following. I was excited to work with the owner Corpo and the art director Rob Helmstetter (lookyhere.net). I pitched the idea of creating a board design that looked like a "little dude". It is of no mystery that skateboarder’s dress code is full of worker-wear complete with stains and rips, knit caps and pocketknives. I applied all that I know of current day skateboarder dress attire into this design and the client loved it.
From left to right: 1 & 2 were what I used to pitch the idea to the client. Number 3, 4, 5 & 6 were revisions based on client feedback. Number 6 (far right) is the final design (as seen below).
