Based on a character study of Josephine Lightbourne from The 100, this piece shows how she has been stripped of her identity in the fight between her id and superego. The id, keeping her latched on to the idea of immortality. The superego, trying desperately to guide her towards morality. Her id sings about the joys of being youthful forever, transferring her consciousness into a 'brand new person' before her body starts to age. Her superego, the moral principle, quietly reminds her that she's making the 'same old mistakes' by stealing the bodies of innocent people. Her id, being the pleasure principle, doesn't care as she's 'in love' with her life as a God. Her superego tries to make her stop before it's too late, but unfortunately fails to do so as she is so blinded by the colourful facade of being a false God.

This piece is a continuation of "Id vs. Superego" focusing on Josephine Lightbourne's reincarnations. More specifically, her 7th reincarnation in the body of Clarke Griffin who survives due to a hexagonal neural mesh in her head from when she entered the City of Light made by an artificial intelligence. It shows the fight between the two in their shared mind space. It also shows Clarke's personal growth as she goes through her memories. The tunnel which leads to the window when she was in Mount Weather and had red blood breaks to show the broken window in her mind space where she has black 'nightblood'. The mind drive has 4 images around it - four of Josephine's bodies. Two of them in black and white as they could not survive but Josephine and Clarke in colour.
