LOS ANGELES TRAFFIC LIGHTS
When night falls on Los Angeles, the city's lights transform it into a beaming work of art full of rich vibrant hues and tones that only come out when the sun goes down. Their lights turn the city's buildings into glowing giants that illuminate the streets below, while the city's traffic turns into streams of red and white light flowing through the city like bioluminescent blood in veins. The night makes the concrete jungle grow more colorful and radiant. And, when the sky grows dark over head, the City of Angles shines bright.

This series of images was collected over the course of the past 3 years to show how beautiful the city can be as it shines under the stars. It was shot in various parts of Los Angeles including Downtown, Chinatown, Koreatown, The Sunset Strip, North Hollywood, Van Nuys, & LAX, to illustrate how the various parts of the city have their differences yet still come to life with the same colorful glow at night. The series focuses on the light trails made by the traffic because they are symbolic of the source of the city's energy and power. The source being all the different people who have come to live in L.A. and all the culture, color, and electricity that they charge this beautiful city with.
