Thylacine Extinct Awareness | Social Cause Poster

For this project, I was asked to make a poster that featured an extinct animal or an animal in distress in some sort of manner that spread awareness. I chose the Thylacine because of its relatively recent extinction caused by both manmade and natural causes. The flames represent the death of the species, but also alludes to the current Australian wildfires. Though the Thylacine was not destroyed because of wildfires, it represents the possible extinction of modern endangered species.
Digitally painted sketch.
