The School of Visual Arts presents Personal Manifestos Two. The largest student-organized photography exhibition, displaying a collection of works representing various esthetic dimensions. Taking a community of artists who as friends share a variety of ideas and messages presents the audience options. Options not shaped by theme but by message, a message they feel should be conveyed to a larger audience. Despite choices of medium and topic these artist draw lines between works. Included at entry is a fifteen-minute documentary illustrating the creation of the show and artists at work.
The exhibition brings together 24 students’ representing more than 70 pieces of art. The personal expressions include the expansion on photography through incorporation of sculpture, painting and installation.
